Joep Gerrits is a (film)maker based in Amsterdam. Aside from writing and directing, he likes to concern himself with every other type of design that comes with producing videos - from thrifting props and sewing costumes to building miniatures and designing title sequences - giving his projects an accessible and handmade feel.

The overall tone is light and humorous, with a love for filmmaking shining through - often referencing the history and process of filmmaking itself.

Aside from that Joep also draws. Sometimes as a useful tool in his design-process or to communicate his ideas to others, sometimes as an end to itself.
